Prevents breast, ovarian and uterine cancers

This is amazing! Cucumber contains lignans namely pinoresinol, lariciresinol, and Seco iso lariciresinol. When we consume these lignans the bacteria in our digestive tract, convert them into enterolignans. The enterolignans have the ability to bind estrogen receptors and have both pro-estrogenic and antiestrogenic effects. This action significantly reduces estrogen-related cancers such as breast, ovary, uterus and prostate. Amazing!

Cucumber contains triterpene phytonutrients called curcubitans. These curcubitans block the cancer cell development and survival pathways. Thus the cucumber has significant anti-cancer properties.
